The theme for the 21st SAAFoST International Congress and Exhibition "Growing Food Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future" was chosen because of the concerns both internationally and in Africa of how to feed the rapidly growing populations. This presents a huge challenge to the Food Scientist and what a better time to start finding solutions to these concerns than at this Congress.
The committee's approach to the programme structure is to ensure that the participants get most value for their money by including keynote addresses, plenary lectures and parallel sessions. We are committed to organizing and hosting a world-class Food Science and Technology event which will exceed all expectations.
Original Research Abstract Submissions:
Abstracts of original research, for presentation as orals or posters, or covering topics of commercial appeal are invited to be presented at the above Congress. Submitted abstracts should be original, topical and current.
